Tell us what you think!
As the State's peak environment group, we represent our members and supporters, so it is crucial that we find out what interests you and what your biggest concerns are. By completing our 2010 supporter environment survey you will be helping us to represent you more effectively in these critical times for WA's precious environment. The survey contains 14 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Festival of Trees 2008

Growing Trees for Life

A Landcare Expo and a Celebration of the Spirit of Volunteering

Date: Saturday 29th March

Time: 10am - 4pm

Organisation: Men of the Trees

Details: Something for everyone whether you have a big garden, a courtyard or are a small landholder. The teams from Men of the Trees, Great Gardens and Heavenly Acres will be there conducting workshops. Great tips from the experts on how to grow native plants, reduce water and fertiliser use, improve soil, beat pests and disease, attract birds, grow fruit and vegetables and much, much more. There will be workshops that are perfect for small landholders struggling to manage the home, garden, hobby orchard and the rest of the property. Find out about volunteering  to grow, plant and care for trees. Come to an introductory session. Meet a network of people and organisations working with Landcare, Trees, Sustainability and the Spirit of Vonunteering. Men of the Trees was founded in Kenya in 1922. The Kenyan community in WA will be the guests of honour at the Festival Opening. Join us in learing more about the incredible Kenyan stories linked with trees and the environment movement.  John Colwell will launch the Landcare Expo.

Where: St Barbe Grove, Lot 2 Stirling Crescent (Cnr. of Amherst Rd), Hazelmere
