Arid Lands Garden Rehabilitation Project

Event Description: The Arid Garden lies directly at the entry into Karratha. There is a walking path from the Tourist Information Centre that provides visitors with a walkway towards the centre of town. Both the path and the Garden are in a poor state. Rehabilitating the Garden by clearing the buffel grass and dead wood, improving pathways into central Karratha, adding signage, seating and artworks etc will contribute to our community spirit and enhance everyone's sense of belongiong as well as reminding our community of the need to be Water Wise.
