Tell us what you think!
As the State's peak environment group, we represent our members and supporters, so it is crucial that we find out what interests you and what your biggest concerns are. By completing our 2010 supporter environment survey you will be helping us to represent you more effectively in these critical times for WA's precious environment. The survey contains 14 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Dieback Treatment Day

Friends of Wireless Hill

When: 29th March, 9am - 12pm

Location: Wireless Hill, Ardross

Description: One section of Wireless Hill Park is affected by dieback.  Alcoa, SERCUL and the Roleystone Dieback Group will be joining with the Friends of Wireless Hill to inject the trees with phosphite.  Most gear is provided however if you have a cordless drill we would appreciate you bringing it along.  Meet at the main car park at the centre of the Park (Almondbury Road) at 9am.  Wear long sleeved shirts and pants, closed shoes and gloves, a hat and sunscreen.  Insect repellant and a bottle of water are recommended.  Bring your cameras as there is lots of bird activity including red-tailed black cockatoos and rainbow bee eaters. We will split into teams to drill and inject the trees, with instruction provided.  There will be a short juice break mid morning and a BBQ at 12 provided by the City of Melville.  Please RSVP to Margaret Matthews 9315 9075 s3mmatthews@hotmail.com by Thursday 26 March for catering purposes.
