Tell us what you think!
As the State's peak environment group, we represent our members and supporters, so it is crucial that we find out what interests you and what your biggest concerns are. By completing our 2010 supporter environment survey you will be helping us to represent you more effectively in these critical times for WA's precious environment. The survey contains 14 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

10th WA Environment Festival - Winds of Change

 When: 28th & 29th March, 10am - 5pm

Location: Naragebup Rockingham Regional Environment Centre, Safety Bay Road, Peron

Description: This remarkable achievement, ten years of providing environment information, learning and understanding to the WA community deserves to be celebrated so join us for WA Environment Festival’s 'decade of dedication'.

The Festival itself is held in the naturally beautiful grounds (1.7ha) of Rockingham Environment Centre,a place of ‘natural encounters’, located opposite Australian Heritage Listed Lake Richmond in Peron.

There will be a wide range of activities, performances, eco-educational displays and events. With lots of stall holders and performing groups to entertain throughout the weekend this vibrant event provides excitement and stimulation, whilst presenting quality of life options.

Free hands-on activities for children can be found in the Try It Yourself section.

The ever popular wildlife presentations will be happening with a chance to get up close to some of WA’s unique native animals, including reptiles, mammals and birds of prey.

Entry is free to the public, nearby parking is available and the 551 bus stops right outside the door. This is a non smoking, alcohol-free event. Food and drinks are available for purchase or people are welcome to bring their own.
