Tell us what you think!
As the State's peak environment group, we represent our members and supporters, so it is crucial that we find out what interests you and what your biggest concerns are. By completing our 2010 supporter environment survey you will be helping us to represent you more effectively in these critical times for WA's precious environment. The survey contains 14 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete.

Climate Change + Grassroots Action + Environmental and Social Justice + Local Sustainability

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition in partnership with the Australian Student Environmental Network and the Conservation Council of WA will host Perth's first high schools environmental justice conference.

The Germinate Conference aims to empower young people who are interested in Environmental Justice issues with knowledge and skills to raise awareness in their local communities. The conference gives students an opportunity to develop skills needed to act on the issues they feel passionate about and really make a difference by working towards an active high-schools environment network in Western Australia.

The 2009 Germinate Perth high Schools Environment Conference will consist of participatory workshops centred on major Environmental issues. Attending students will hear from speakers from the Conservation Council, WA’s peak environment group as well as the Western Australian Student Environment Network and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and other key Environmental experts.

This FREE conference promises to be a rewarding experience for all attendees. An outline of the Germinate Program can be viewed here: http://germinateperth.wordpress.com/program/
