9.00AM-5.00PM | Thursday 5 November – Friday 13 November (The exhibition will be closed on the Saturday and Sundays) “We didn’t offer up our land ... We’re still fighting for food, about education, health and poverty issues. How can we be fighting against uranium mining and waste dumps on top of all that?”
Indigenous communities and traditional owners continue to suffer the direct impacts of the nuclear industry, yet their voices are often the least heard. Inhabited provides a powerful opportunity to reflect on the industry’s legacy in Australia and is an important exhibition for Western Australia as the Barnett Government continues the push for WA to open up to uranium mining and become a nuclear state.
