Biodiversity in our Backyard Photography Competition Congratulations to Barbara Waldoch of Chidlow for the most popular photograph as voter by viewers of the Biodiversity in our Backyard Photography Exhibition at Perth Zoo. 
Congratulations to the winners of the 2009 Biodiversity in our Backyard Photography Competition The Conservation Council of WA announced the winners of the 2009 Conservation Week Photography Competition at a special event at the Perth Zoo on the 27th of March 2009. One winner from five categories was selected from 20 finalists. The winners for 2009 are:
Primary: Luke Mead of Broome for his photograph, Broome Backyard
Secondary: Katelyn Weinert of Albany for her photograph, In a Rock Pool
Tertiary: Oliver Cardona of Swan View for his photograph, White-faced Heron
Open Amateur: Wayne Eddy of Karrinyup for his photograph, Rainbow Bee-eater
